The sound piece follows me as I walk around the Gemmayze neighborhood where I have been living since 2000. The work takes the form of a healing peregrination, where background sounds intersect with everyday dialogues and the my inner voice. One of the dialogues is with my aunt May Wehbé, where the blast brings back her memories of war in her family apartment. Through encounters with neighbors, business owners and family members, the affect and impact of the past couple of years become more and more perceptible on my intimate landscape.
