A young woman and man each give their versions of a story together at a seaside resort on the Lebanese coast.
In 2014, I started to think about a way to show moving images from places that were static in my memory. Using a succession of images from the beach resorts over few decades, I wanted to make a short film. Nadim Tabet, a close friend and filmmaker, that came from the same generation, co-directed “Summer 91” with me. Combining our personal memories, we produced the film after receiving funds and support from the CNC in France.
